Perceptions Counseling and Consulting is an Outpatient Mental Health agency. We are dedicated to providing exceptional services to our staff and clients. We offer free supervision for those who qualify. Candidates seeking a position with our team must be team players, motivated, compassionate, independent and organized. Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy.
Education: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in mental health, substance abuse, counseling, and/or human relations field. Applicants: Please ensure that your Licensed in Oklahoma or under Supervision before applying. Supervised candidates have the option to become employees.
Please note: This is a position requires you to assist in building your own case load. Agency provides referrals as they come in.
Responsibilities:
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
- Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
- Provide prevention-oriented therapy
- Implement and review treatment plans
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- One of the following: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LADC, LADC/MH or Supervised Candidates
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Established strategy for attracting clients and/or an existing client base
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong leadership qualities
- Assessment and treatment plan development
