What You’ll Do
As an Expeditor Technician, you’ll help ensure our optical department runs efficiently by managing orders, inventory, and coordination across teams.
- Track and monitor eyewear orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Communicate with vendors, optical staff, and front office to resolve order issues
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming frames, lenses, and supplies
- Maintain organized inventory and update tracking systems
- Prepare eyewear for fittings, adjustments, and patient pick-ups
- Enter and update data for orders and inventory
- Support the optical team with daily operational needs
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of experience in inventory, logistics, shipping/receiving, retail, or healthcare (preferred – training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Highly organized, dependable, and punctual
- Basic computer skills (order tracking systems experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Bonus Experience (Preferred):
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ year in optical or ophthalmology
- Sales experience
- Interest in healthcare or optical operations
Schedule
- Full-time (8-hour shifts)
- Monday to Friday availability required
- Saturdays (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM) required for all staff
- Closed on major holidays
Compensation
- $17.00 – $19.00 per hour, based on experience
