Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and community care environments. This role involves developing and implementing personalized care plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall wellness for diverse patient populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and those recovering from acute injuries or surgeries. The Physical Therapist will utilize their expertise in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver high-quality physiotherapy services aligned with best practices.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations and develop individualized care plans tailored to their needs.
- Administer therapeutic interventions including trigger point therapy, manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Manage discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions from hospital or inpatient settings to home or community care.
- Provide treatment for a variety of conditions such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Document patient progress accurately using EMR systems and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance strategies for home & community care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes in both acute care and outpatient settings.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy, including new techniques like trigger point therapy and specialized approaches for different populations.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the respective state or region.
- Proven experience in hospital, outpatient, home health, or clinic environments with a strong understanding of physiotherapy principles.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and relevant medical terminology essential for accurate assessment and treatment planning.
- Experience working with diverse patient groups including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and patients requiring acute care or inpatient services.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Ability to perform comprehensive assessments involving mobility analysis, pain management techniques such as trigger point therapy, and development of effective treatment strategies.

Pay: $46.83 - $56.40 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
