Vertical Converting dba Sierra Hygiene Products is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Part-Time Recycler / Baler Operator to support our recycling and warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can work independently, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient work area. This position is located in Frostburg, MD.
Responsibilities:

Operate baling equipment to compress scrap paper and recyclable materials
- Load finished paper bales onto trucks for shipment
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently
- Move materials throughout the warehouse and recycling area
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of recycling and storage areas
- Monitor bale quality and ensure materials are prepared correctly for shipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and equipment guidelines
- Assist with general warehouse and recycling duties as needed
Qualifications:

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Ability to operate or learn to operate baling equipment
- Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
