DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Plan and implement engaging, standards-based theatre arts instruction
· Teach acting techniques, voice, movement, improvisation, and script interpretation
· Direct and produce school plays, performances, and showcases
· Introduce students to stagecraft, including set design, lighting, sound, and costumes
· Assess and monitor student progress; maintain accurate records
· Establish and maintain a structured, positive classroom arid rehearsal environment
· Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and Fine Arts Department personnel
· Coordinate auditions, rehearsals, and performance schedules
· Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student participation and progress
· Maintain theatre equipment, costumes, and inventory
· Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school activities
· Support district and school initiatives
· Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

· Knowledge of safety procedures related to stage and production environments
