Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) driver with specialized Crane and tree experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate commercial trucks and specialized equipment to support tree care, removal, and landscape maintenance projects. Your expertise in arborist rigging techniques, tree trimming, and safety protocols will ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine skilled driving with outdoor horticultural work, contributing to the health and aesthetics of urban and rural landscapes.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks equipped with Cranes, bucket trucks and other specialized machinery for tree care operations
- Perform tree removal, pruning, trimming, and planting activities using arborist rigging techniques and chainsaws
- Conduct rigging operations for large or hazardous trees, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed
- Manage bucket truck operation for elevated work such as plant pruning care and landscape maintenance
- Assist with land clearing, lawn care, and general landscaping projects as needed
- Follow all safety procedures diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Proven experience operating Cranes, bucket trucks and rigging equipment in a tree care or landscaping environment
- Strong knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal practices, and tree care fundamentals
- Familiarity with GIS technology for site planning and project management
- Proficiency with chainsaws, plant pruning tools, and other horticultural equipment
- Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work, heavy machinery operation, and climbing procedures
- Experience in horticulture, dendrology (study of trees), landscape maintenance or growing plants is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
