Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Imaging Guidance Technician at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, you will be a highly specialized and essential member of our clinical team, pivotal in performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Every day you will retrieve MRI/CT scans, set up the navigation system and make adjustments prior to and during surgical procedures. While monitoring and reportings issues with navigation equipment or processes, using critical real-time guidance and accurate diagnosis.
To be successful in this role, your ability to maintain a steadfast commitment to patient safety advocacy is crucial. Ensuring patient safety is of the utmost importance.

Maintains navigation instrumentation and equipment, calibrating same equipment as needed

Retrieves appropriate scans as needed

Assumes responsibility for accurate records and results

Assists throughout the surgical procedure by making equipment adjustments as directed by the physician

Responsible for room set up and equipment break down
