Responsibilities
- Perform tire installation, repair, and replacement on heavy-duty trucks and trailers using hand tools and power tools
- Support vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and basic repairs under supervision
- Learn to diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics equipment and mechanical knowledge
- Perform routine inspections to identify wear and tear, ensuring vehicles meet safety standards
- Help with wheel alignments and tire balancing to optimize vehicle performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients about service needs
Qualifications
- Prior heavy truck or automotive repair experience is preferred. At least six months of previous tire repair and service is required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong interest in truck diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and heavy-duty truck systems
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service
- Willingness to learn new skills through hands-on training in tire service, alignment, and general vehicle repair
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
