Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and dependable Front End / Cashier to serve as the face of Dapper D’s Cheesesteaks. This role is responsible for taking orders, processing payments, assisting guests, and supporting overall restaurant flow. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in great customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide a positive, welcoming experience
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy and accountability
- Answer questions about the menu, specials, and promotions
- Ensure orders are communicated clearly to the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and dining areas
- Assist with order pickup, packaging, and guest follow-up
- Support teammates during peak service times
- Uphold Dapper D’s brand standards and service expectations
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
