SpeakEasy Therapy Factory is looking for a part- time School Based Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our therapy team comprised of SLP’s SLPA’s, COTA’s, PT’s, PTA’s, and child development specialists. This position is located in Columbia, SC, and will begin in July 2026.
A qualified SLP will provide therapy services to children in the school setting with varying speech and language disorders. We offer competitive rates for this position from $45- $55 per hour, medical and dental insurance option, free CEU’s and a free toy/ game and digital starter kit to utilize with your clients. Assessment kits will be included as well if necessary.
Duties:
- Evaluation/ Assessment of speech- language disorders in preschool aged children
- 1:1 and small group therapy treatment of children w/ speech- language disorders
- Documentation of clients’ progress with goals
- Record/submit progress notes as required
- Provide parent & teacher education/ participate in IEP meetings
- Create/ Update Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
SLP Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s Level Degree in Occupational Therapy from a CAA accredited program
- Previous pediatric treatment experience in school setting (2+ years)
- Reliable car, and a valid driver’s license
- CPR certification
- State licensure/certification from the SC Board of Occupational Therapy
- SC Teacher’s Certificate
- Strong work ethic, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; team-oriented
Pay: $42.00 - $52.00 per hour
