United Anesthesia Services P.C. is a private physician-owned company established in 1996. We provide anesthesia services to hospitals and surgical centers throughout the Philadelphia suburbs, partnering with top-notch health systems such as Main Line Health, Jefferson Health, and Doylestown Health. We employ and deploy anesthesiologists and certified nurse anesthetists to provide full-service cardiac, chronic/acute pain, and critical care services to ORs, ambulatory procedure centers (outpatient), GI suites, EP labs, OB, IR, and more. Various cases are performed at affiliated hospitals, including general, GYN, OB, colorectal, ortho, vascular, neuro, thoracic, ENT, trauma, GI, pain, EP, urology, and cardiac. Our corporate office in Plymouth Meeting, PA, is the operations hub where payroll, scheduling, recruitment, credentialing, and onboarding are conducted across the company’s three divisions.
This part-time, temporary administrative assistant position is front facing, for visiting providers and vendors and is key to the success of the day-to-day flow of operations at our various sites.
Responsibilities at Abington Hospital
· Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
· Welcome visitors to the anesthesia office and answer any questions visitors have
· Maintain reception area and all common areas like the break room
· Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including copy machine, computer and conference room technology
· Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received
· Order and receive deliveries; sort and process incoming mail daily
· Reconcile corporate credit cards on behalf of C-Suite and Coronis
· Order lunch as needed as directed by the Anesthesia Chair
· Maintain inventory of supplies and order and restock as needed
· Assist with physical and digital employee files and compliance
Qualifications
· Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook and HRIS system Paycom/Jefferson Workday and Epic
· Strong verbal communication skills

Requirements
· 2-3 years of relevant front office experience in a healthcare setting
· Associates degree in related field preferred
· Familiarity with healthcare delivery services a plus but not required
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position is a predominately sedentary role, in a well-lighted office environment. Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks including walking, bending, standing, reaching, and sitting. Performs complex, occasionally challenging varied tasks requiring problem solving, independent knowledge and exercise of independent judgment.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
