- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Enter bills, invoices, deposits, and journal entries into accounting software
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing
- Track job costs and construction budgets
- Monitor subcontractor invoices and vendor payments
- Assist with customer billing and collections
- Maintain organized financial and project records
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet clients professionally
- Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments
- Prepare contracts, change orders, proposals, and other project documents
- Order office supplies and maintain office organization
- Support owners with special projects and other administrative duties as needed
- Handle confidential financial and business information with discretion
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience (construction industry preferred)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to assist with administrative tasks beyond bookkeeping

We're looking for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and takes pride in keeping the office running smoothly.
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
