What You'll Do:
- Deliver both direct and indirect occupational therapy interventions as specified in students’ IEPs
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify each student's unique needs
- Design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to promote growth and independence
- Partner closely with teachers, special education professionals, and families for seamless support
- Maintain clear and compliant records in accordance with state and district regulations
- Contribute insights and recommendations during IEP meetings, supporting collaborative goal-setting
- Address areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence to foster student success
What You'll Need:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Virginia OT license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- NBCOT certification
- Prior school-based experience is a plus, but committed new graduates are welcome
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Role Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Follows the school calendar, with regular holidays and breaks observed
