Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. 12 MONTHS MINIMUM CDL experience is required for consideration (SAP DRIVERS ARE ASSISTED IN COMPLETING STEP 6). The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to operate different types of trucks. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF HAVING LESS THAN 12 MONTHS CDL EXPERIENCE, UNLESS YOU ARE AN SAP DESIGNATED DRIVER.
Responsibilities
- Operate semi-trucks with 53’ Dry Van trailers
- Ensure that all items are secured properly for transport.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by company policies.
- Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding deliveries and any potential issues.
Experience
- MUST HAVE 12 MONTHS CDL EXPERIENCE TO APPLY!!!
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Proficiency in hauling hazmat or tanker cargo is preferred, but not required
- Experience with OTR or Regional freight hauling is preferred
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving and cargo transport.
