JOB DESCRIPTION
NorAkila Massage is seeking a talented, dependable, and trustworthy New Hampshire–licensed massage therapist to join our highly rated Manchester practice.
NorAkila Massage has earned a five-star reputation on Google and Vagaro by providing exceptional massage therapy and highly personalized client care. This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who wants flexible scheduling, generous compensation, an established client base, and a fully equipped professional treatment environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Experienced massage therapists receive 60% of the service fee.
- New graduates receive 50% of the service fee.
- Therapists receive 100% of cash gratuities.
- Additional incentives may be available for therapists who bring their own clientele or develop a strong base of repeat NorAkila clients.
- NorAkila provides the clients, treatment space, massage supplies, linens, laundry supplies, online booking, scheduling, marketing, payment processing, and coverage of most credit-card and Vagaro processing fees.
Schedule
- Approximately two to four days per week
- Generally six-hour scheduling blocks
- Flexibility in selecting days and hours
- Optional on-call opportunities for couples massages
Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently excellent and professional massage therapy.
- Complete accurate and timely client chart notes.
- Respond appropriately to client messages related to scheduled services.
- Prepare and turn over the treatment room between clients.
- Handle massage-related laundry as needed.
- Maintain a clean, peaceful, and professional environment.
- Arrive on time and honor all accepted appointments.

Requirements
- Active New Hampshire massage therapist license is required.
- Strong massage skills and professional boundaries
- Dependability, honesty, and excellent communication
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to cleanliness and accurate client documentation
- Willingness to complete a practical massage demonstration as part of the selection process
