We are looking for cook(s) for the back of the house to prepare food that maintains our long standing history of providing a quality menu. Kitchen staff may also assist with prep responsibilities and provide coverage as a dishwasher.
We are looking for cooks to join our growing team. Generally every weekend is required.
Availability morning, afternoons and evenings is preferred.
Willing to train motivated team players. Ability to work with others is required.
If you are unable to get to work on time and be present for your scheduled shifts consistently, then this position is not for you. Eligible to earn an increase in 90 - 120 days after meeting benchmarks including attendance, punctuality, menu awareness and understanding with and ability to cover the kitchen. Experience/culinary education may contribute to a higher starting wage. Uniforms are provided and paid for through payroll deductions.
Our policy is that staff may not work at another like-kind restaurant if employed by Walker's.
