Duties
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move inventory efficiently.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision, ensuring correct items are selected and securely packaged for shipment.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments with our design / sales team.
- Stock shelves systematically, organize pallets, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse to optimize workflow.
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Support warehouse distribution operations by loading and unloading trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Make deliveries to customer's homes or job sites.
- Pick up materials from vendor locations.
- Maintain outside appearance of store, including but not limited to, mowing, raking leaves and shoveling.
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and stock management.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for counting items accurately and managing inventory data.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages, standing for extended periods of time, and operating warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy in order picking & packing processes.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
