Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care across a variety of settings. Your expertise will support clinical decision-making, perform detailed assessments, and deliver high-quality medical services to diverse patient populations. Please note this position is for a new clinic that is new and in the process of building its patient population. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions utilizing advanced clinical skills, including IV infusion, suturing, and catheterization.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
- Coordinate care through case management, discharge planning, and utilization review to ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations using sonography, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and medical imaging techniques.
- Engage in telehealth consultations to extend care access and support patients remotely while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards for infection control and sterile processing during procedures requiring aseptic technique.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with eligibility to practice independently in the respective state.
- Proven experience working in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; hospital medicine experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including eClinicalworks ; telehealth experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and CPT procedures.
- Background in diverse clinical settings including emergency medicine, urgent care clinics, nursing homes or assisted living facilities; familiarity with post-acute care is advantageous.
- Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to triage effectively across age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics; working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $83,871.96 per year
