Unison Health is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Program Manager to lead daily operations at our Children's Wellness Campus, a residential behavioral health program serving youth ages 6–17. The Program Manager will provide leadership, supervision, and support to a multidisciplinary team while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. This role is responsible for overseeing program operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory and agency standards, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring youth receive individualized services that promote emotional wellness, stability, and long-term success. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for supporting children and adolescents facing behavioral health challenges and a commitment to creating meaningful outcomes for youth and their families.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
- Provide leadership and oversight for all day-to-day operations of the Children's Wellness Campus, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment for youth receiving residential behavioral health services.
- Supervise, mentor, and support multidisciplinary staff, including direct care, clinical, and support team members, through coaching, performance management, scheduling, and ongoing professional development.
- Ensure compliance with agency, state, and accreditation standards by maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring program performance, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and supporting audit readiness.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership, families, schools, and community partners to coordinate individualized treatment services that promote positive behavioral, emotional, and social outcomes for youth.
- Champion a trauma-informed and youth-centered culture by fostering engagement, supporting crisis intervention efforts, promoting best practices in behavioral health care, and ensuring the highest quality of services for children and adolescents.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral health needs required; residential treatment or behavioral health program experience strongly preferred.
- Clinical licensure preferred, including RN, LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, or other related behavioral health credentials.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to supervise, mentor, and support multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, child and adolescent development, and best practices in residential behavioral health treatment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families, clinical staff, community partners, and external stakeholders to support positive outcomes for youth.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems, documentation standards, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain compliance with agency policies, accreditation standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Flexible, solution-focused, and adaptable with a commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for youth and staff.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities as needed to support program operations.
