Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Front of House (FOH) Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Assist the FOH Manager in supervising front-of-house operations, including dining room service, bar service, and guest relations
- Support staff training initiatives to enhance team performance, customer service skills, and food handling procedures
- Oversee shift management by coordinating schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels, and maintaining operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols across all FOH areas
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Monitor inventory control to ensure stock levels are maintained and waste is minimized
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster positive guest interactions to promote repeat business
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and service management
- Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and food handling regulations
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities with effective communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing and staff training
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for order accuracy, budgeting, and profit/loss analysis
- Strong organizational skills for shift management, inventory control, and food production oversight
- Experience with fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen management processes, culinary standards, and managing hospitality teams
