Job Description:
Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the PNT Modernization CMFF Program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The selected candidate will provide systems engineering support across requirements development, technical performance management, system-of-systems integration, software-intensive systems, and program lifecycle activities.
The Systems Engineer will work closely with government program leadership, engineers, vendors, Army organizations, and external stakeholders to support technical decision-making and ensure system requirements and program objectives are effectively addressed. The position will also support engineering and acquisition documentation, technical reviews, integration planning, risk management, and the development of technical recommendations for the CMFF program.
The ideal candidate will have a strong systems engineering background, experience supporting DoD programs, and the ability to work across multiple technical disciplines in a collaborative program environment.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Provide systems engineering support for the CMFF Program, with a focus on technical performance, requirements, system integration, and lifecycle engineering activities.
- Support requirements analysis, decomposition, development, derivation, documentation, and traceability throughout the system lifecycle.
- Support the management of technical performance and ensure system requirements and technical objectives are properly addressed.
- Support systems engineering activities for software-intensive systems, including agile software development planning and integration.
- Develop, review, update, and maintain engineering and acquisition documentation in support of program milestones and technical objectives.
- Support system-of-systems integration planning and coordinate technical activities across systems, platforms, vendors, and external stakeholder organizations.
- Support concept development, system design, system architecture, hardware/software integration, network integration, and host platform integration activities.
- Participate in product, platform, vendor, client, IPT, working group, and engineering meetings and reviews.
- Assess vendor technical progress and provide recommendations to the Assistant Product Manager and program leadership regarding technical issues, risks, and potential solutions.
- Provide technical assessments and recommendations related to system engineering, testing, integration, and product improvements.
- Develop and update technical briefings and program documentation to incorporate current technical information, engineering assessments, and program strategies.
- Support the development and maintenance of Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), Configuration Management Plans, Risk Management Plans, DoDAF products, and other systems engineering documentation.
- Support risk identification, analysis, tracking, and mitigation activities.
- Support configuration management and ensure appropriate relationships are maintained between requirements, system elements, technical data, and other program artifacts.
- Review technical data artifacts for completeness, accuracy, and acceptability.
- Support the development and maintenance of databases and other tools used to track PNT requirements and technical information.
- Participate in program technical reviews including SSR, SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, PRR, FCA, and PCA, including associated pre- and post-review activities.
- Support modeling and simulation, integration, test and evaluation, hardware/software validation, experimentation, and field demonstrations.
- Evaluate proposed improvements to existing products and applications and support assessment of emerging PNT technologies and augmentation capabilities.
- Consider operational benefits and constraints, interoperability, sustainment, and DOTMLPF impacts when evaluating system and integration solutions.
- Support the development and review of acquisition documentation, including SOOs, SOWs, PWSs, performance specifications, and related solicitation documentation.
- Provide technical input and assistance during proposal evaluations and other acquisition activities.
- Interface with government, industry, vendors, Army organizations, and other external stakeholders supporting the CMFF system-of-systems approach.
- Perform other systems engineering duties as assigned in support of the PM PNT mission.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Experience supporting Army or DoD PNT programs.

- Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).

- Experience supporting formal technical reviews including SSR, SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, PRR, FCA, and PCA.
- Experience with modeling and simulation.
- Experience supporting hardware/software and network integration.
- Experience with host platform integration and Army platform integration.
- Experience supporting test and evaluation, validation, experimentation, demonstrations, or fielding activities.
- Familiarity with IEEE 1220 systems engineering principles.
- Experience with requirements management, configuration management, or technical data management tools.
- Experience working with vendors and external stakeholder organizations.
- Experience developing technical briefings for senior program leadership.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Systems Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in Engineering or Systems Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience should include systems engineering support for DoD systems, products, or programs.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position represents Dynamo's good-faith estimate of the compensation expected to be offered at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity.
$105,000.00 to $145,000.00 annually
