Work-Life Spanish, LLC (WLS) is expanding and seeking a dedicated and experienced Spanish Language Teacher to join our growing Spanish language academy. This role is designed for bilingual candidates with university degrees who have substantial experience teaching Spanish language and culture. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year Spanish language teaching experience working with students of all ages and levels, a background in creating detailed Spanish-language curriculum for corporate and non-corporate clients, and technical proficiency with a variety of platforms related to the creation and marketing of teaching materials.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive lessons for students of various ages and proficiency levels using effective teaching methodologies.
- Track student attendance and retention rate.
- Utilize exceptional time management skills to impart WLS lesson plans and course materials during the indicated time-frame.
- Maintain excellent professionalism, strong organizational skills, and high attention to detail
- Incorporate a student-led, communicative approach to language teaching.
- Evaluate students' starting levels and progress and ensure successful learning outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Linguistics, Spanish, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating exceptional ability.
- Minimum of 1-year Spanish language teaching experience.
- Curriculum Design: Ability to develop comprehensive and engaging Spanish language curriculum.
- Mastery of tools such as Microsoft Office, Canva, and Gmail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated fluency in both English and Spanish.
