Summer Buildings and Grounds Custodial Worker:
Summer Buildings and Grounds Custodial Workers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of facilities during the summer season. This role supports daily operations by ensuring buildings are well-kept, functional, and welcoming for staff, visitors, and the community.
Rate: $13.35 / hour
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal in buildings and common areas

Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and high-touch surfaces

Assist with minor maintenance tasks, including basic repairs, painting, and equipment setup

Help prepare facilities for events, including setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and equipment

Follow safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment

Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to supervisors

Work collaboratively with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently
Qualifications:

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Previous custodial or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
