We are looking for an experienced Irrigation Supervisor / Crew Lead to oversee daily irrigation installation, repair, and maintenance operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing a crew, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and completing projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise irrigation crew members on job sites
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems (residential and/or commercial)
- Read and interpret irrigation plans, layouts, and schedules
- Plan daily tasks and assign work to crew members
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and meet company quality standards
- Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures
- Diagnose electrical and hydraulic irrigation issues
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, and other departments
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition
- Enforce safety protocols and company policies on job sites
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on irrigation experience
- At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising a crew (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, valves, wiring, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and understand irrigation plans and site drawings
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Reliable attendance and ability to work a full, consistent schedule
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Irrigation certification (LIC, CIT, or applicable state license)
- Backflow certification
- Experience with commercial irrigation systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
