Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes.
- Communicate effectively with clients upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships.
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing sales opportunities during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents or delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and proper functioning of the automobile transportation equipment.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
