The Human Resources professional supports day-to-day HR operations for the facility by administering key programs, ensuring compliance, and partnering with leaders to drive effective people practices. This role serves as a resource to employees and leadership, helping to resolve issues, support workforce needs, and maintain a positive and compliant work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Participate in site-level initiatives such as Vision Committee and VIP Board meetings (as applicable)
- Support responses to internal and external inquiries (e.g., EEOC, legal, government agencies) and escalate as appropriate
- Support HR programs including performance management, employee relations, corrective actions, and internal mobility
- Track and report HR metrics aligned with departmental and organizational goals
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance HR effectiveness and efficiency
- Model and reinforce company mission, vision, and values in all interactions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of HR activities
- Support workplace safety initiatives, including adherence to emergency evacuation procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and HR needs
