We are looking for an energetic person with a friendly personality who has strong time management skills and pays attention to detail. This is a fun and, at times, fast-paced environment where you will meet and greet customers every day. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. WEEKEND availability is a MUST, about 10-15 hours a week.
As a Game Master you will:
- Introduce and explain the rules of the game (some acting required)
- Provide hints to help the guests escape
- Monitor participants as they race for clues and solutions
- Debrief and take social media photos
- Reset the room quickly and accurately to prepare for the next game
- Other duties include light cleaning, answering the phone, taking reservations, and running the front desk when needed
- Assist with minor repairs to games or props
- Most importantly, make sure the guests have a great time
You’re a good fit if you have these qualities:
- Love puzzles, riddles, and/or escape rooms
- Juggle watching a room, giving clues and answering the phone (all at the same time)
- Problem-solving skills
- Can articulate yourself well
- Basic technology skills (computer skills, emailing, etc.)
- Dependable and respectful
- Can sit for extended periods of time and focus for up to an hour at a time
Must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Must be comfortable interacting with people, greeting guests, and answering the phone. Love for puzzles, games, or escape rooms is a plus. Tell us a little about yourself when applying.
