Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Assist with floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning as required.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Provide support in residential painting and minor maintenance tasks when needed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial or custodial positions is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of floor care methods including buffing and maintenance procedures is a plus.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
