Haynes Therapy Group is looking for a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a local school system for a unique evaluation-only role completing district wide speech and language evaluations for the remainder of the school year, with the potential to renew if it’s a great fit for everyone.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced clinician who wants meaningful school-based work, flexibility, and work-life balance — without a direct therapy caseload.

What You’ll Be Doing
As the evaluation SLP, you’ll:
- Conduct district wide speech and language evaluations
- Analyze results to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports consistent with Tennessee eligibility standards
- Attend meetings to present evaluation findings and support eligibility/service decisions
- Collaborate with parents and teachers to help develop individualized plans for services
We’re Looking for Someone Who…
- Holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Holds a TN SLP License
- Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Has prior school-based evaluation experience
- Has a strong working knowledge of Tennessee eligibility criteria
- Is confident, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Brings experience and clinical judgment to evaluations
