Accounting Manager
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee key accounting functions for a dynamic and growing retail company. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience managing accounting operations across multiple entities and inventory-intensive businesses. This position is onsite in Nashville.
Salary up to $125,000
Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Maintain accounting operations for multiple business entities and ensure accurate intercompany accounting and consolidations.

Lead inventory accounting processes, including inventory valuation, reconciliations, reserves, and controls.

Analyze inventory-related financial data and partner with operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Qualifications of the Accounting Manager

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.

Required experience accounting for multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions.

Required inventory accounting experience within a retail, distribution, consumer products, or similar environment.

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
