Job Purpose
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise in the planning, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of electrical systems supporting industrial manufacturing operations. This role manages electrical aspects of capital and process improvement projects, ensures the reliability and performance of production equipment, and provides advanced troubleshooting for electrical, automation, and control systems. The Electrical Engineer collaborates with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and external contractors to optimize equipment performance, improve system reliability, support preventive maintenance initiatives, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with engineering standards, OEM specifications, and organizational objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare Electrical work scope for Capital Projects and process improvement projects.

Perform the site walkthrough and scope discussion with 3rd party contractor.

Receive Quotes, prepare purchase requisition and help Engineering Team throughout the project cycle.

Assist in performing contractor evaluations and quote reviews.

Assist Engineering team preparing CAPEX project report, KPIs, Budget report.

Assist Maintenance team in resolving critical Electrical issues.(VFDs, Automation)

Analytically resolve electrical malfunctions back to OEM Specifications.

Responsible for the electrical performance of equipment and support process improvement projects where applicable.

Communicate with personnel on electrical issues. Assist in development and review preventative maintenance procedures.

Must be available and able to work outside the normal work week schedule when needed. (Emergency breakdowns and Scheduled Outages).

Participate in the continuous improvement and training of Electrical Technicians.

Assist in the input of work orders for the Maintenance Department.

Prepare reports on equipment performance and efficiency.
