Project Overview
We are hiring experienced Field Technicians for a Verizon Baseband Swap project involving Ericsson equipment. This role requires hands-on field experience in telecom deployments, with a focus on baseband installation, integration, and troubleshooting across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform baseband swaps and upgrades on Verizon network sites
- Install, configure, and integrate Ericsson RAN equipment
- Execute site activities including cabling, equipment mounting, and testing
- Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and network-related issues
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide daily progress updates
- Coordinate with project teams and remote engineers as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven field experience in telecom deployments and RAN upgrades
- Hands-on experience with Ericsson equipment (mandatory)
- Prior experience working on Verizon network projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of baseband swaps, installation, and commissioning
- Ability to independently handle field tasks across multiple locations
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region
Preferred Qualifications
- Verizon and/or Ericsson certifications
- Experience working in multi-market rollout projects
- Familiarity with telecom safety protocols and compliance standards
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
