A PPEC Center is a specialized, pediatric, medical day treatment center who provides nursing care for medically fragile/medically complex and/or technology dependent, special needs, disabled, babies and children. We are seeking a medically trained daycare assistant or a pediatric trained nursing assistant who wants to work with special needs/disabled children. You will assist the nurses of the PPEC Center to care for the children. RN students & future RN students are perfect for this job!!!

- (2) Full-Time position (30-40 hrs/wk)
- MONDAY thru FRIDAY ONLY
- NO WEEKENDS!!
- START ASAP....WITHIN 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!

ALL PPEC DAYCARE ASSISTANT APPLICANTS MUST HAVE ON THEIR RESUME.........
- MANDATORY MINIMUM of 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE CARING FOR INFANTS and/or TODDLERS ON RESUME ****(MUST BE ON RESUME)****OR YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE DELETED! (Experience CANNOT be with your own children...MUST BE PROFESSIONAL/PAID EXPERIENCE!!!!!)

- Experience at a Daycare, Preschool or Camp

- Graduate RN's waiting to take your Nursing Boards
- New Grad RN's with your Nursing License already, but are too scared to work as an RN because you had little or no clinicals in school !!

NURSING/DAYCARE ASSISTANTS--RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (not limited to):
- Care for, monitor, and feed babies/children
- Entertain and play with babies/children in the playroom
- Perform diaper changes and skin care
- Prepare meals and feed children.
- Assist nurses, as directed (for example: nebulizer treatments, CPT, baths, etc.)
- Provide developmental & therapeutic interventions
- Clean/sterilize supplies, equipment, and toys
- Monitor the kids on the transport bus to/from the PPEC Center (you are not the driver)
