Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to guests’ tables
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning tables, chairs, floors, and service stations regularly
- Handle manual lifting of food trays, dishes, and supplies safely following proper lifting practices
- Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and responding to their needs promptly
- Support banquet or special event service by bussing tables and assisting with setup when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling procedures
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving, food running, and guest services enhances your fit for this role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
