Reports To: Executive Director.
Primary:The Volunteer Coordinator supports Department Heads by recruiting new volunteers and making placement recommendation(s).
Objectives are:
· Champion TEAM in the Tomball Community
· On-going recruitment efforts to fulfill TEAM’s volunteer needs
· Fill key volunteer roles with appropriately skilled and motivated persons
Job Duties and Responsibilities(Other duties may be assigned as appropriate)
* Recruit and conduct initial interview with volunteers
· Attend community events to attract qualified candidates
· Publicize opportunities for volunteers including advertising in our monthly newsletter, our website, and/or on social media forums
· Develop and maintain relationships with other organizations and churches
· Identify and attend community outreach opportunities such as fairs, festivals local markets and organizations
· Respond to inquiries from prospective volunteers
· Discuss area(s) of personal interest with prospective volunteers
· Communicate regularly with the TEAM Management and Executive Director regarding their need for specific volunteers, understanding what skills are required
* Promote a wide range of volunteer opportunities within the organization.
· Have a basic understanding of the various volunteer roles at TEAM and the required skill set for each role
· Assist with scheduling group volunteer activities or projects, as requested
· Support TEAM Management requests for additional volunteers

· Ability to engage with a variety of community organizations to present TEAM attractively and to ask for participation in TEAM’s mission
· Demonstrated capability to conduct one's self in a calm and professional demeanor when dealing with the public and/or difficult situations
· Willingness to adjust hours to accommodate the needs of the job
· Ability to effectively manage a wide array of tasks, projects, and responsibilities
· Ability to work productively in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions

· Proficient in basic computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation applications, and internet usage
· Organization and planning skills
· Record keeping skills
· Presenting effectively to small and large groups
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
