Job Overview
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Preschool Teacher to join the FECC. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment rooted in Christian values.
Duties
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
- Help plan and facilitate age-appropriate learning activities
- Provide attentive care and supervision for preschool-aged children
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Communicate professionally and positively with parents and families
- Encourage kindness, respect, cooperation, and positive behavior
- Participate in activities that incorporate Christian values and faith-based learning
- Follow all center policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with teachers and childcare staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Patient, dependable, and compassionate
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional classroom environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality care for children
- Comfortable working in a Christian, faith-based childcare environment
