Duties
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals following established recipes and safety protocols
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene standards are maintained
- Support catering events by preparing dishes and serving guests efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and food preparation stations
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
- Provide excellent food service by assisting residents or customers with their meal choices and serving requests
Requirements
- Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices
- Experience working in restaurants or the food industry is advantageous
- Some knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are essential
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
