Key Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Install, modify, and commission new production equipment.
- Lead equipment improvement projects to increase productivity and reliability.
- Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance documentation.
- Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Technical diploma or degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting (motors, sensors, VFDs, control circuits)
- Hydraulic system diagnostics and repair
- Mechanical equipment repair and alignment
- Pneumatic systems
- Preventive and predictive maintenance
- PLC troubleshooting (asset)
- Welding or fabrication experience (asset)
- Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing mindset
