We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver with CDL A to join our team. We work construction jobs all over Idaho, Nevada, Montana, and Wyoming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to handle different types of trucks and trailers,
Duties
- Operate various types of trucks and dump trailers such as side dumps and belly dumps.
- Safely load and unload aggregate materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status.
- Ensure proper securing of loads during transport to prevent damage.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Experience operating different types of trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers is a plus.
- Knowledge of Heavy Haul Equipment
- Ability to work independently while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.
