We are seeking skilled, detail‑oriented professionals who thrive in a fast‑paced office environment and bring experience with law firm or professional services billing systems such as Juris, Clio, MyCase, or similar platforms.
We currently have an opening that encompasses the following duties:
1. Accounting Specialist
About the Role: this portion of this position is the primary role of this position. It includes handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping, billing, and financial operations. Experience in a firm setting is essential, and familiarity with systems such as Juris, Clio, MyCase, or comparable billing/accounting software is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process billing, trust accounting, and client invoicing
- Reconcile accounts and prepare and maintain financial reports, records, documentation, and transaction logs
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting and financial planning
- Monitor, track, and reconcile organizational expenses to ensure accuracy and budget compliance
- Optimize vendor partnerships to reduce overall costs and manage the full flow of payments and revenues to support efficient, fiscally responsible operations
Qualifications
- Bookkeeping or accounting experience in a firm or professional office
- Proficiency with billing/accounting systems (Juris, Clio, MyCase, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain organized workflows
2. Human Resources
About the Role: this portion of the position will oversee and facilitate HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to support a growing team with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in HR strategy, policy development, and compliance
- Manage onboarding processes
- Administer employee benefits, programs, and HR records
- Support leadership with workforce planning and organizational development
Qualifications
- Prior HR leadership experience in a professional services or firm environment
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, confidentiality, and problem‑solving skills
3. Business Administrator
About the Role: this portion of this position will support the operational and administrative functions of the firm, ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate vendor invoices, contracts, and service agreements to ensure competitive pricing and high value
- Track financial outflows to identify cost‑saving opportunities and eliminate extraneous expenditures
- Support budgeting, reporting, and administrative planning
- Assist with billing, scheduling, and internal communications
- Coordinate projects and support leadership with operational needs
- Support continuous improvement of administrative and financial procedures
Qualifications
- Experience in business administration within a firm or professional office
- Familiarity with billing or case‑management systems is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
