Optometric Assistant/Frame Stylist
A growing, experienced, multi-disciplinary optometric practice is looking for new people to train as assistants/opticians. This will potentially be between both our Modesto and Riverbank locations
You will learn to:
-Greet and guide the patient around the office
-Perform patient testing ex: visual fields, fundus photos, etc
- Understand the plan for a patient following a complete exam
- Assist patients in frame selections and contact lens instructions
*Experience helpful but willing to train
* Spanish and English is highly preferred
We are a highly specialized office, offering services such as Vision Therapy, Specialty Contact Lenses (ie Sclerals), and Low Vision. Specialization is not required but there will be plenty of opportunities to experience and even pursue certification in these areas.
