Duties
- Prepare a variety of snacks and beverages with attention to quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm
- Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and give correct change using basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the snack bar area, including food handling, bussing tables, and restocking supplies
- Manage food preparation tasks quickly to meet high demand during busy periods in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles preferred; experience in quick service or fast food environments is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude ready to serve guests with energy and enthusiasm
