Futures For Tomorrow is looking for an Employment Specialist! Part time position perfect for someone who is retired or looking to supplement their income. $12-$13/hour. 10-30 hours per week, schedule is flexible between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday thru Friday. The ideal candidate will.....Actively support individuals and guide them in locating appropriate employment resources. Actively develop positive relationships with employers throughout the community. Connections are built by researching leads through job search websites, cold calling, and in person networking. Complete daily documentation of the work that was conducted. Work as a liaison between the employer and employee to ensure needs are being met. Provide support for individuals in a variety of ways such as job development, providing on-the-job training, and follow-along support. Establish and maintain good relationships with various individuals and agencies including area supervisors, referring agencies, VR counselors, parents/guardians, case workers, employers, etc.
The ideal candidate should have.....
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Transportation to fulfill the requirements of the position.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Strong ability to think creatively and develop strong internal and external relationships.
- Strong marketing and interpersonal skills.
