Job description:
Zip Xpress offers:
Night Shift starting at 5:00pm
$20 per hour starting wage – regardless of experience.
Scheduled raise at 90 days AND after completion of forklift training.
Four-night work week, Including Friday and Saturday Nights. 3 days off each week, no Sundays.
Work duties for this position include (but not limited to) :
- Breaking down loaded pallets
- Strategically arranging freight within trailers
- Adhering to guidelines on safe freight placement and securement
- Weighing freight and verifying adherence with DOT guidelines for weight distribution and limitations
- Loading trailers with load bars to load freight vertically in a safe and effective manner
- Working in a physical and extremely fast paced environment for extended hours
- seated forklift work
- staging and verifying inbound freight
- loading and securing outbound freight
- organizing and cleaning used workplaces at the end of each shift.
