Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to assist with material handling and production support. This role includes operating a forklift as well as performing general tasks on the production floor. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, flexible, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials, products, and equipment within the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
- Assist with production floor duties, including assembly, packing, and organization of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and floor space.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with team members to support production goals and deadlines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work on the production floor and assist with general tasks as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift and carry materials as required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work assignments.
- Basic Math skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift frequently during the shift.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
SCHEDULE: 6:30 AM - 6:45 PM ROTATING SHIFT
Pay: From $16.20 per hour
