The Chateau of Long Beach is seeking dedicated and compassionate CAREGIVERS / MED TECHS to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to residents during the afternoon and evening hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's care by implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques
- Provide personal care in accordance with care plans while maintaining dignity and respect for each resident
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition for residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning tasks and proper infection control procedures
- Support residents' social engagement by encouraging participation in activities and providing companionship
- Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to support mobility needs
- Document all care activities thoroughly in EMR systems and communicate effectively with team members about resident status

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
