Job Description
LexGo RV Rentals & Repair is hiring an Experienced Mobile RV Repair Technician to service customers throughout LEXINGTON and surrounding areas. This position is field-based and requires a self-sufficient technician who can diagnose and repair RV issues independently. This is a part time on call as needed. Peak season is now here and we will be doing repairs and tank empties from 9 to 9 7 days a week.
This role requires prior RV repair experience. There is NO training available!
Responsibilities
- Perform mobile RV repairs at customer locations, RV parks, campgrounds, and storage facilities
- Diagnose and repair:
- Electrical systems (12V & 120V)
- Plumbing systems (fresh, gray, black tanks)
- Water heaters, furnaces, AC units, and refrigerators
- Slides, leveling systems, jacks, awnings, and roof components
- Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, timelines, and repairs
- Accurately document work completed using company systems
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent LexGo in a positive manner
- Emptying black and grey tanks using our service truck
Requirements (Must Have)
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on RV repair experience (required)
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to replace hydraulic jacks
- Ability to replace AC units
- Ability to diagnose slide outs
- Ability to diagnose electrical/appliances
- Reliable transportation (service vehicle preferred)
- Own tools required for RV repair work
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in Kentucky weather
- Strong communication and customer service skill
- No training provided – this position is for experienced RV technicians only
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mobile RV service
- RVIA, NRVTA, or similar certifications (preferred but not required)
- Experience working in RV parks, horse farms, or event venues
