Overview
We are seeking a professional and dependable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. This position offers an opportunity to work with a reputable company that values efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Candidates should have experience with different types driving environments, including manual transmissions and specialized trailers such as refrigerated.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles across designated routes
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and freight documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the road
- Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status, any trip issue or any route changes
- Assist with freight handling as needed during loading/unloading procedures(NOT always)
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during route driving
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery route driving and freight transportation
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently
- Knowledge of load & unload procedures for various freight types (If needed)
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation laws
- Excellent route planning skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Good communication skills for coordination with dispatchers and clients
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting freight during loading/unloading operations(If needed)
This role requires a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) . Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, reliability in delivery schedules, and professionalism in handling freight.

Pay: $0.48 - $0.62 per mile
