Duties
- Provide expert haircuts, styling, coloring, and hair extensions tailored to each client’s preferences and features
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations
- Use salon software like Meevo to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
- Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and upselling retail items to enhance their experience
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of sanitation practices
- Experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and hair care techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their desired outcomes
- Knowledge of color theory for customized hair coloring solutions and advanced techniques like hair extensions
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and services through excellent client communication and retail sales skills
