Halsted Corporation is looking to add a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to their ground team to lead and oversee all facets of their warehouse operations at the company’s headquarters in Cranbury, NJ.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you’ll oversee warehouse staffing and operations, support and develop warehouse leadership and associates, and ensure the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing shipments. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, sales, office staff, carriers, truckers, and other partners to keep operations running smoothly and customers’ needs met.

The ideal candidate will offer 5+ years of previous management experience in a warehouse setting, and possess strong leadership skills, with a high degree of process and detail orientation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead warehouse operations, including staffing, scheduling, shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment.
- Lead and develop warehouse employees and supervisors, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee LTL/FTL shipments, inbound and outbound logistics, returns, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures, SOPs, and forklift certification requirements.
- Monitor warehouse performance, identify operational challenges, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and productivity.
- Partner with sales, office staff, carriers, and senior leadership to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Oversee warehouse equipment, cleanliness, and working conditions.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and ERP system to support accurate inventory and efficient operations.
- Analyze operational data and communicate performance trends, opportunities, and improvements to leadership.
- Support broader operational strategy and initiatives that drive business performance and profitability.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years previous management or assistant management experience in a warehouse setting
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, or similar field strongly preferred
- Experience with operational, process, and performance improvement projects (lean or six sigma experience highly valued)
- Strong communication and listening skills
- General office knowledge, including telephone and computer skills, to perform in a customer service environment
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint
- Demonstrated leadership in building a culture of Continuous Improvement for process and operations
- Proven ability as a passionate people-centric leader who can effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company
- Extremely organized, meticulous and detailed oriented
- Strong analytical ability necessary to gather and interpret data to further develop, recommend and implement solutions
- Experience using warehouse management software and an inventory barcoding system
- Must demonstrate responsible work habits and satisfy pre-employment requirements, including a background check and drug test

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
